What this site is
AIToolDepot exists for one reason: there are thousands of AI tools now, most of them mediocre, and nobody has time to try them all. We research, compare, and rank AI tools so you can skip straight to the ones worth your time.
Every article on this site follows the same approach: figure out what a tool actually does, who it's for, where it falls short, and how it stacks up against the alternatives. Our testing methodology explains the process in detail.
What this site isn't
- Not a press-release feed. We don't republish launch announcements.
- Not pay-to-play. Rankings aren't for sale. If a tool pays us (through an affiliate link, for example), we'll say so on the page.
- Not hype. If a tool is overrated, we'll say that too.
How we make money
Right now, we don't — the site is new. The plan is straightforward and we'll be transparent about it: display ads (like Google AdSense) and, where relevant, affiliate links to tools we genuinely recommend. Who runs this
AIToolDepot is a small independent project. No venture funding, no corporate parent, no sponsored content team — just someone who spends too much time reading about AI tools and decided to write it all down.
